Approving a message
Why messages to contractors wait for you, and how to stop them waiting.
Before a message goes out in your name, it waits for you. The Approvals chip in your Inbox gathers everything of that kind.
Two things wait here. A message to a professional — "a message is waiting before it's sent" — is one you Review: you see exactly what will be sent, and to whom, and can send it, edit it first, or decline.
And a question from Alfred — "Alfred needs your guidance" — is one you Respond to, when he needs a decision before he can go on.
Nothing is sent while an item sits here, so an approval left for a week is a week the repair has not moved.
If there are too many
- Approving the same kind of thing over and over? You can let messages send without asking, on the Alfred tab in Settings. Consider it carefully — it is a real handover, and it is set per property.
- Wrong contractor? Decline it. Alfred comes back to you with the next candidate.
