Your details and signing in
Change your name, email, phone and UTR — and get back in when you cannot.
Your own details live on the Profile tab in Settings — and if you cannot get in, the way back starts on the sign-in screen.
Full Name, Phone Number and your UTR are yours to edit here — the UTR pre-fills the SA105 export pack at tax time.
Your Email Address is the one thing you cannot change yourself: it is your sign-in, so contact support to move it.
Save Changes commits the rest.
Your password
A password you still know is changed on the Security tab.
Enter your current password, then a new one that is at least eight characters with an uppercase letter and a number, and Update Password.
If you cannot get in at all, use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen — it emails you a link to set a new one.
If you are locked out
- Signed up with Google? You have no password yet. Use Forgot your password? to set one, and then either way works.
- Reset email not arriving? Check spam, and check you are using the address you signed up with.
