Room-by-room letting. A newer feature, not switched on for every account yet.

Open a property and choose Occupancy. It manages a property let by the room — each room, who is in it, and what it charges — instead of one tenancy over the whole place.
The picture above shows it: three rooms, one of them let.
1 of 3 rooms occupied sits at the top with a progress bar, and + Add room adds another.
This tab is the rooms — naming them and tracking which are let. The contracts, tenants and deposits themselves live on the Tenancy tab.
Occupancy only appears once a property is set to be let by the room — and you set that yourself. Open the Tenancy tab and find the Letting arrangement card:

The chip on it reads Whole property until you change it.
Click it and choose One shared (joint) contract — housemates on one agreement, rooms tracked — or Let by room · a contract per room.
Moving between whole and a joint let is safe and reversible: no lease is touched, and the Occupancy tab appears as soon as you switch.
